What Is It?

It is a ministry. 

The Clothing Giveaway is a semi-annual ministry event occurring in April and October serving the people in our community by providing clothing, household and misc items for free.  Yes, free.  The giveaway has become a regular event many people look forward to and depend on.  Ministries like this happen only because people get involved and participate. 

How does this come together? 

Anne Erbschloe has headed this ministry for many years.  The giveaways are organized months before the doors open.  During the year, all of the gathered donations are sorted and placed in bins according to gender, size and use.  Then, the week before the giveaway, the tables and racks are set up. 

Presently, we continue to gather items for the next giveaway event.  After your garage or yard sale, consider bringing in the leftover items for the giveaway.  All donations are appreciated. 

The next Clothing Giveaway is scheduled for 9 AM - Noon on Saturday, October 8th, 2011.  Donate...get involved !
