How do I become a member of Callaway Christian Church?
An opportunity is given at the close of each worship service to step out, walk forward and become amember of CCC. Requirements for membership are based upon the teachings of Scripture. Those who desired to come to the Lord declare their faith in him, repented of their sins and were baptized. We require no less. If you have already been immersed (baptized) into Christ at another congregation, we do not require you to be re-baptized. Baptism is into Christ, not into the local congregation.
What is asked of those who become members of Callaway Christian Church?
Again, we yield to the Scripture. Those in the church were called to faithfulness: Faithfulness in gathering with other believers, in living a Christ-like life, in generous support of the work of the kingdom, in continual learning and growing in the Word. To wear the name of Christ demands we become servants, even as he was. By our love for one another, others will know we are his.
